Is it just me, or does it seem like all of the people you know are popping out little ones lately? They’re everywhere! I’m keeping an eye on the water here…wouldn’t want any of that catching up to me right now 🙂
I totally want kids (3-4, naturally!) but Jeff and I would like to wait a few years to have them, God willing. It doesn’t stop me, however, from creating a board on Pinterest dedicated to my Future Little Ones!
When talking on the phone a few weeks ago, discussing this exact topic, hubs mentioned that he wants to be surprised with the gender of our kids. The thought both excites and terrifies me at the same time. How will we know how to decorate the nursery? We won’t have any clothes to put on the kid! What about deciding on names?! After all of those thoughts ran through my head, I quickly realized how irrational they all were and found some fixes via Pinterest.
Dilemma: How will we decorate the nursery?!

Dilemma: How will we prepare ourselves to be parents of a little boy/girl if we don’t know what we’re having?!?!?! (I think this was my most irrational argument…)
Solution: Teach them the values we’d want in them regardless like these:
Dilemma: What about the baby shower?! Gaaaahhhhh! So stressful to plan!! (at this point the hubby just laughed at my ridiculousness)
Solution: Choose a general theme like one of these:
So after I was done freaking out and throwing “dilemmas” at Jeff, I finally realized that waiting to find out our future little one’s gender might be the best surprise ever! He’s so smart 🙂
