Who is She?

Hi! I’m Lisa.

I’m so glad you stopped by!

Here’s a little bit about me:

I’m blazing through my mid-twenties at the speed of light (or so it seems!) and I’m enjoying every minute of it! I am married to an amazing man and we are embarking our second year of marriage! Time flies!

My husband is currently serving as an officer in the Navy. Because of this, we are apart a bunch and move around the country often. We both grew up in Ohio, then we moved to Florida, and now we’re enjoying sunny Southern California. While many people see us being apart and traveling a bunch as a negative, I see it as an opportunity to explore different areas and learn new hobbies that we can share when we are together!

I love to cook, read, exercise, play with my two adorable pups (see below – aren't they the cutest?!?!), complete DIY projects around our home, Pin everything on Pinterest, and spend time with family and friends.

I follow a pretty loose schedule but mostly post in the following order:
Mondays: Fashion
Tuesdays:Toddler/Teaching Tips
Wednesdays:Around the House
Fridays:Fitness/Healthy Recipes

  1. Hi Lisa!

My name is Valerie Williams and I am the content coordinator at Paul Fredrick. With Halloween tomorrow, costume decisions need to be made! I understand that with the holidays on their way, things are getting hectic and it may feel like you barely have time to get everything done. I wanted to share an article I wrote for our blog that might give you and your readers a little creative inspiration when helping deal with last minute costume decisions.

The idea is that without spending a ton of time and money, you can create a great last minute costume with very little effort using basic items like dress shirts and ties to depict a favorite movie or television character. We would love for you to share the blog post, which can be found here: http://blog.paulfredrick.com/2013/10/22/lifestyle/5-last-minute-halloween-costume-ideas/ — along with any tips that you might have for how to create a quick and easy costume.

If you feel as though this would be an interesting post for you and your audience, please let me know, I’m looking forward to hearing back from you!

    • Val,

This looks like a great post for Halloween. I can write a quick snippet about your article and include a few ideas for the ladies tomorrow in my Halloween feature post.

      Thanks for visiting!
